Carla & Josue's Wedding - Puerto Rico!!
Hey Everyone!!
We hope you've all had an astounding week and are enjoying this beautiful Friday we have here today!! Before I begin; this blog post is going to be extremely special to us. It was the last wedding of 2013 and it couldn't have been any better!! Please read below for the Spanish version and vendor details.
So today we're extremely excited to share with you all Carla & Josue's gorgeous wedding. Last week we flew out to Puerto Rico to document their full wedding weekend. As soon as we arrived they greeted us like family. After having photographed Carla's bothers' wedding a little over a year ago, we already knew some of their friends and family and we were convinced this wedding was going to be the perfect one to end the year. The last time I had gone to Puerto Rico was probably about 25-26 years ago so I didn't remember much except the fact that it's such a beautiful and fascinating island.
As soon as we arrived, Carla & Josue invited us over to their house and made us feel at home. Not only that but this is when the beginning of the never ending fried food extravaganza began. They made us some delicious Alcapurria's with Guava & Cheese. There went our healthy eating, it was definitely worth it though!! Later that night we hung out with them for a bit while they practiced some of the dances that were going to happen at the wedding the following day.
The wedding day was here, we woke up nice and early to get the day started. While the guys hung out at the beach, the girls got ready in their beach front rooms at the Embassy Suites in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Once everyone was all ready, their ceremony began at their hometown church Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Vega Baja followed by the insane party at Terra Campestre in Guaynabo. I'm telling you, there's just something about weddings out of the states where people PARTY Hard!!! Just as they were about to cut the cake, a spanish band came to rock the house with their "Batucada." Even after the party was over and the lights were on, people were still moving!!
The last couple of days there, we went out to the beach to Rock the Dress with Carla & Josue and then had a chance to visit Old San Juan, eat more amazing food, and spend a few ours on this beautiful caribbean beach . I guarantee it's only going to be a matter of months before we find ourselves back there again and we can't wait!!!
So, without further adieu, here are some of our favorite photos from Carla & Josue's wedding!!
Carla & Josue,
You two are the absolute best!! Since the moment we arrived till the moment we left, you guys took amazing care of us. There are no words to describe how honored we feel to have been chosen to document your wedding let alone fly us out from the states to do so. We had the best time ever and we can't wait to see you guys again!! We hope you love your photos and congratulations on your marriage!!
Love,
Richard & Andrea

Hola!!
Besos,
Richard & Andrea
